Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was apparent from the time she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first attempt she made her skills, she placed second in 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she went to at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. The following year, Felix was awarded her very first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record sprinting 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked in the top three of athletes at her particular events.
