Aisha Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her roles on the television shows The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her range of talents by appearing in series like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The role she played on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to attract her attention. The film was primarily for her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biography film All the Way, which earned her the respect she earned as an actress. Hind has also been acknowledged for her performance in the role she performed as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will be renewed for another season. Hind has recently finished filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is set to be released around the middle of 2019. This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan was able to bring her stunning beauty and glam to her first major English film.
