Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor from 11 November 1996. She made her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to play anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began her modeling career after she was approached by an aspiring photographer. The career she pursued has evolved into commercial modelling. Doody was very determined not to do glamorous or sexually explicit work. This rule extended into Doody's acting work. Having come to the attention to the director of casting for an upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody appeared as a character in John Willis Screen World Volume 2. She was one of twelve promising actors to be cast in 1986. 38. Doody aged 18 when she played Doody's role in Bond, was and is still the most youthful Bond actress until today. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) which starred Mickey Rourke, also featured an unimportant role in the form of IRA Siobhan. Doody played Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 television version from The Secret Garden. She was Lilias. The first time she played the lead in the 1988 episode of Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller as Sapsorrow opposite John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took possibly her most famous role in her career as Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a co-star with Harrison Ford. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. In the year 1991, Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the publishing fraud known as the Hitler Diaries. When she moved to Hollywood Doody made her a star. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson's part. Doody then appeared as Flannery Sheen's girlfriend and his agent opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II came out in 1994. Doody played a role in the 2002 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine was her character in a celebration in recognition of an award. She starred along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. Doody was part of Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). In the following year, she was a guest in RTE's the medical drama The Clinic. She was scheduled to also be the star of an adaptation in 2011 of the horror movie The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. She began her first two seasons of The E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she starred as Pam Jefferson in We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018, she won the Almeria Tierra de Cinema Award and was awarded a Star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
